When and where do club practices take place?

Once we establish the practice schedule, you can find information on our calendar. We train at American Leadership Academy – Gilbert North campus. The address is 1070 S. Higley Rd. in Gilbert, AZ. Click here to view it on Google Maps.

When and where do tournaments take place?

The AZ Region of USA Volleyball sets the tournament schedule and assigns teams to locations. The tournament schedule varies by team. The tournaments are posted on our calendar when we receive the information

There are numerous tournament locations all around Arizona. We typically discover the assigned location for each team a few days before a scheduled tournament. The assignments are posted on the AZ Region website, and we’ll post them on our calendar and team pages as well.

Is the club restricted to students from American Leadership Academy - Gilbert North campus?

Most Eagle Volleyball Club players are also students at ALA – Gilbert North. This allows players to bond, practice, train, and compete with prospective school teammates.

There will be some exceptions to the rule – especially on our younger teams.

Note that playing on Eagle Volleyball Club does not guarantee players a spot on ALA school volleyball teams.

What does it cost to be on the club?

We are one of the most (if not THE MOST) affordable clubs in town. Here are the fees for the Girls 2018-2019 club season:

-A tryout fee of $20 for ALA students and $25 for Non-ALA students.
-A $400 initial fee when you commit to the club, paid when you are offered a spot on a team after tryouts.
-Six monthly payments of $160 each.

There are some additional costs for open gyms and pre-tryout clinics. Pricing for these events can be found in the event descriptions on the website.

Is there a sibling discount?

Yes. There will be a discount for more than one sibling playing for Eagle Volleyball Club. Contact Haylee Thompson (hayleet@hotmail.com) for more information.

How do I pay for club fees online?

Eagle Volleyball Club has partnered with Groundwork for paperless and automatic payments this season. Groundwork provides parents with an easy way to set up automatic payments, view their payment history, and receive upcoming payment reminder emails. There are two different types of payments Groundwork will manage for us – open registration event payments and invitation-only team payments.

To pay for an open-registration event, such as an Open Gym or Clinic, you can follow the link on the event’s details page or click here. Once you’ve entered your email address on the Groundwork website, select an event from the dropdown and then proceed to pay for the event.

Some payments can only be made once you’ve been invited to join an event or a team. For instance, when your player has been offered a position on a team after tryouts, you will receive an email with a link to Groundwork that will allow you to set up online payments for participation on that team.

Who will coach my player's team?

Coaching assignments will be made after tryouts. You can learn about our coaches on the Coaches page. Navigate to About > Coaches.

Will the club have boys teams this year?

We are exploring the idea of having a program for boys in 2019. Stay tuned for details, and reach out to let us know if you are interested.
